 Head designer Sandy Wee and partner Sebastian are a rare find in the fashion industry. The two creators of fashion-forward Yoga Army care only about producing a brand that stays true to their beliefs and continues to keep their competitors on their toes. Despite all their success, they remain a boutique operation. “We pulled back from many investment offers because they wanted us to manufacture abroad,” says Sebastian “We want to keep America working and continue creating every piece with extreme passion and care”. Their devotion is apparent once you are able to see their work. The hand-cut, high-end leather scull and crossbones tank tops include hand stitched details, studs, and were created a whopping four years ago, long before the trend took Hollywood by storm. ; Now their Spring/Summer ‘08 collection eerily resembles pieces that were later shown by Galliano, Lagerfeld, Celine and others presented in Milan, Paris and New York this past fashion week season. ;
